Bug Fixes

• ID 453044 - Flix Server: Checks for other online servers and server-to-database timestamp consistency was occasionally unreliable.
• ID 456727 - Flix Server: The 6.3.5 DB migration upgrade did not clean up duplicate dialogue entries efficiently.
Editorial/Production
• ID 453356 - Premiere: Overlapping clips occasionally produced incorrect panel durations in Flix.
• ID 453391 - Premiere: Gaps in sequences occasionally did not create ref panels in Flix.
• ID 453611 - Avid: Publishing from Avid to Flix did not relink dialogue changes in Flix correctly.

Feature Enhancements
Under the Hood
• ID 442942 - Log lines now contain values for the clientID and user who started that thread of function calls, and the server. This makes it easier for you to filter your server logs by user, or server.
Example:
INFO[30804]api.AssetController.GetMediaObjectHandler: Media object data requested Media Object ID=35792 Request Origin="10.0.204.116:50330" ThreadServer="Server {7510075e-ab89-40d7-906f-bd4c137c17eb | flix002.thefoundry.co.uk}" ThreadUser="User{brice.banel Admin user}"
• ID 443585 - The new username config field for OAUTH authentication allows users to be authenticated by either email address or username. This configuration defaults to username as to not change existing behavior, and can be changed to email to authenticate users on email address instead.
• ID 445028 - Resetting the admin user will reset their password as well as all their default values.
Bug Fixes
General
• ID 386851 - Panels occasionally disappeared while using the Compare tool. Now all panels remain visible while scrolling in the panel browser when the Compare tool is active.
• ID 392426 - The first panel appeared to be selected when opening a sequence revision, but attempting to add more panels to the selection would deselect it. Multi-selection is now possible without having to select the first panel.
• ID 433961 - When importing portrait images, Flix now shows the full image in the thumbnails, no longer zooming in to fit the width.
• ID 434417 - Flix no longer adds panels to the selection if Cmd or Shift are not being held, which could happen after copy and pasting.
• ID 440299 - Recording timing no longer changes marker positions.
• ID 441169 - Changing the duration of a panel with a marker on it did not change the starting position of the marker.
• ID 442043 - Updating animated panels duration no longer changes marker positions.
• ID 444677 - Exporting a .pdf with the Selected Panels option no longer results in extra panels being included.
• ID 444835 - The Flix Management Console was limited to display 100 users. The limit has now been lifted to allow all users to be seen in the Management Console.
• ID 445013 - Panel duration no longer changes when switching panel revisions.
Editorial and Production
• ID 416006 - Gaps from Premiere now come in as ref panels, solving audio sync and other issues.
• ID 421427/400441 - Burn-ins are now consistently applied to all panels when publishing to editorial.
• ID 432541 - Two clips overlapping a single clip in Avid would result in three panels importing into Flix. Flix now only imports the two expected clips.
• ID 436052 - Some Avid nested clips were coming into Flix with one frame missing from one of the clip duration. All nested clips now import into Flix with the correct duration.
• ID 437000 - Some nested clips from Avid were importing into Flix with an additional panel. Nested clips now import into Flix with the correct number of panels.
• ID 437520 - Flix would export empty strings of dialogue into the dialogue.txt file. Flix now only exports dialogue for panels containing dialogue in any given revision.
• ID 437873 - Flix would not support clips from Avid with Precompute Sequence Containers enabled, resulting in missing panels in the revision. These clips now import into Flix.
• ID 440089 - Gaps and fillers from Avid now come in as blank panels, solving audio sync and other issues.
• ID 442705 - Panels with keyframe information (from SBP or Premiere) no longer version up on import from Premiere, when unedited.
• ID 445156 - Ref panels are no longer included in the 'new' AAF. The 'all’ AAF workflow remains unchanged.
• ID 446111 - Flix would process hidden video tracks from Premiere. All hidden video tracks are now ignored when importing into Flix.
• ID 446112 - Users are warned when importing from Premiere, if the .mov has fewer frames than expected from the corresponding .xml.
• ID 447005 - Overlapping clips with effects now always relink from Avid with the correct duration.
• ID 448671 - Importing .mov files into Flix shortly before starting an Editorial publish or QuickTime export caused failures.
• ID 449076 - Muted clips from Avid are now be treated as fillers, which prevents audio becoming out of sync when importing back into Flix.
Story and Production
• ID 394963/443326 - In cases where the original artwork can’t be found or does not exist, users are offered to open the thumbnail in Photoshop instead.
• ID 404974 - The Each Frame button from Photoshop no longer throws an error for .psd files with an empty group at the top of the layer stack, resulting in all frames being imported correctly.
• ID 423629 - The New Panel button now uses a .psd template based on the show’s aspect ratio.
• ID 427223 - The New Panel button would sometimes result in panels with missing artwork or thumbnails.
• ID 439251 - Blank panels were sent to Flix via Photoshop for files containing a group with a locked layer. All visible locked layers and groups are now sent to Flix.
• ID 444401 - Exporting a sequence revision to Storyboard Pro would break existing keyframes in Storyboard Pro if Export Camera Moves was disabled in the Flix preferences. When disabled, this preference no longer sends any keyframes to Storyboard Pro, and any pre-existing keyframes are removed.
• ID 444912 - Flix would not import dialogue from Storyboard Pro projects if one or more caption panes were removed from the Storyboard Pro project. Now dialogue will always import into Flix providing there is a Dialog pane containing dialogue in the Storyboard Pro project.
• ID 445165 - Flix plug-in buttons in Photoshop used a white font if macOS was running in Dark Mode, making the labels hard to read. Fonts have been made easier to read regardless of OS preference settings.
• ID 445942 - Storyboard Pro projects at aspect ratios other than 1.77 with keyframes were distorted after importing into Flix. Keyframes from all aspect ratios are now imported without distortion.
• ID 446164 - The Photoshop plug-in now reports the correct version of Flix (6.3.5), no longer falsely reporting version 6.4.0.
• ID 453612 - Flix incorrectly saved a duplicate dialogue history every time you saved a revision. Duplicate entries are no longer stored and existing duplicates are removed.
Under the Hood
• ID 431000 - Some messages were only logged in the Console Log and not Flix Client’s log file.
• ID 438262 - LDAP servers set to use TLS on port 636 now allows Flix to log in users successfully.
• ID 444561 - Flix would display an error message in the server logs after importing the same .aaf, .mov, and .xml multiple times. This error has been reduced to INFO level in the server logs.

• DB upgrade (v26 -> v27) - see Upgrading Flix for more information.
• PS Plugin update - see Manually Installing the Photoshop Plug-in for End Users for more information.
